Orofacial Therapeutics Announces Collaboration with The TeleDentists to offer Speed2Treat Home Healing Kit
We are excited to collaborate with The TeleDentists® in offering the Speed2Treat® Home Healing Kit to their urgent care patients that have acute jaw pain, mild head and neck injury, and TMJ flare-ups. Patients can conveniently contact The TeleDentists® and schedule a consult on their phone or laptop within 10 minutes, day or night!
The TeleDentists’ on-call network of dentists serves hospital groups and urgent care centers, universities and other medical groups. Our collaboration creates access to care for acute jaw sprain/strain conditions. Until now, patients have received inconsistent care or no care because people wait to get better, are confused as to which healthcare provider to contact, or fear that their insurance coverage will be inadequate. Using the Home Healing Kit is not a substitute for appropriate medical evaluation; however, many patients are not treated promptly, especially now.
The Speed2Treat® Home Healing Kit for Head, Neck & Jaw Pain is the first treatment protocol to deliver evidence-based methods for addressing jaw and neck musculoskeletal sprain/strain symptoms. Our experience shows that 7 out of 10 patients with mild head, neck and jaw trauma or injury (without significant prior history) who are compliant with the Speed2Treat Care Plan will improve within four weeks to normal jaw and neck function and reduction in pain levels.
The Speed2Treat Home Healing Kit does not require a prescription – it is easy for a patient or provider to purchase and providers can manage and monitor via telehealth or in person.
